The Internet search engine Google now has a tool to help researchers seek out scholarly literature that is stored or cited online. Google Scholar works in a similar way to the generic Google search facility.The main difference is that it focuses its search on peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, preprints, abstracts and technical reports, rather than trawling through each and every document on the Internet.
