Abstract

In this chapter, future directions in acculturation research and design are suggested which could provide valuable new insights and knowledge. Topics discussed include the importance of subject-selection procedures (ranging from individual characteristics to group commonalities), various measurement issues (such as instrumentation and scoring methods), and research design procedures (including discussion of complexities in design).
