Abstract
Education is a key to employment opportunities, higher productivity and income which leads to better health and social participation. It also helps in enhancing individuals’ capabilities for self-sufficiency (University Grants Commission 2009). Higher education has its own importance in terms of employability, political power and national development. In the Indian context, higher education scenarios lack inclusive approaches and therefore exclude persons with disabilities.
