Zusammenfassung

Bei einer Störung des Bewusstseins von leichter Schläfrigkeit oder Benommenheit bis zum tiefen Koma muss immer die Möglichkeit einer Intoxikation als Ursache einbezogen werden. Vergiftungen können bedingt sein durch:

  • Einnahme von Medikamenten, Drogen oder Giften in suizidaler Absicht

  • Überdosierung von Medikamenten und/oder illegalen Drogen

  • Nichtbeachtung von Wechselwirkungen oder Kontraindikationen bestimmter Medikamente

  • Verwechslung von Flüssigkeiten (irrtümliches Trinken toxischer Substanzen) oder Pilzen

  • Unfall: Einnahme toxischer Substanzen durch Kinder
