Systems of Care in Europe

  • Chapter
Facilitating Pathways

Abstract

The term “systems of care” refers to two different aspects of caring for children with mental disorders. First, it refers to the structure and organization of the services provided to patients, and second to the ideas and different paradigms that are used to educate the staff to assess, understand, and treat the different child and adolescent psychiatric disorders.
