Abstract

Ulnar TFCC tears are basically distinguished in three major groups:

In group 1, there is only a capsular detachment, and in group 3 there is pure bony detachment from the fovea. In group 2, the both conditions occur. Pure capsular detachments (class 1 tears) can be repaired by pure capsular sutures. The suture technique is described and discussed.
