Zusammenfassung

Bei 1–2% aller Patienten, die wegen Ileus und/ oder Peritonitis stationär behandelt werden müssen, liegen akute intestinale Durchblutungsstörungen zugrunde (Luther 1990 a, Paes 1990). Dies bedeutet eine durchschnittliche Frequentierung chirurgischer Einrichtungen mit 5–10 Patienten pro Jahr, wobei städtische Häuser einen etwas größeren Anteil besitzen als Universitätskliniken.
