Abstract

Revision knee replacement surgery requires a thorough knowledge of normal and pathologic anatomy, especially when mechanical implant failure is accompanied by bone and soft tissue loss. The bone defect classification of Engh [8] is useful to quantitate the extent of bony and soft tissue pathology in the tibia and femur (Fig. 1).
