Zusammenfassung
Dem malignem Melanom kann mit Prävention erfolgreich begegnet werden. Die UV-Strahlung als beitragender exogener, vermeidbarer Risikofaktor ist bekannt [12, 26, 28]. Zudem ist es im frühen Stadium möglich, diesen zumeist pigmentierten Tumor bereits makromorphologisch zu erkennen. Wird das Melanom im Frühstadium rechtzeitig erkannt und mit entsprechendem Sicherheitsabstand exzidiert, müsste fast niemand mehr am malignen Melanom sterben [32].
