Abstract

The proposed operative procedure should always be planned so that the fracture surgery can be carried out in a smooth and atraumatic manner. The goals of planning are twofold; first, to determine the “desired end result” with a tracing, preoperatively, of the X-rays at the completion of the procedure, and second, to develop the “surgical tactic” which defines the operative steps and their order.
