Résumé
Les douleurs pelvi-périnéales chroniques posent des problèmes diagnostiques fréquents. Elles sont trop souvent rapportées à une origine viscérale (avis spécialisés de « filières ») alors qu’une origine myofasciale, neurologique ou articulaire en constitue le support pathogénique le plus probable. Elles nécessitent un interrogatoire dirigé, une écoute compassionnelle et un examen rigoureux. La dimension « émotionnelle » de ces douleurs chroniques invalidantes rend souvent difficile cette approche clinique.
