Zusammenfassung

‚Autonomie‘ und ‚Vertrauen‘ sind Schlüsselbegriffe für das Verständnis und Selbstverständnis moderner Individuen und Gesellschaften.

So strittig es ist, was genau unter ‚Autonomie‘ verstanden werden muss, so unstrittig ist doch, dass Vielen Autonomie im Sinne eines autonomen oder selbstbestimmten Handelns und Lebens erstrebenswert erscheint. Sein Leben nach eigenen Vorstellungen führen zu können und so zu handeln, wie es den eigenen tiefsten Überzeugungen entspricht, erscheint heute vielen Menschen unverzichtbar für ein auch nur halbwegs gelungenes Leben.
