Zusammenfassung
Aspiration ist eine häufige Komplikation bei der Anästhesie mit z. T. schweren Folgeerkrankungen, wie dem ARDS. Wie eine Aspiration therapiert werden soll, hängt davon ab, ob der Verdacht auf eine Aspiration besteht oder ob diese gesichert ist. Die Aspirationsprophylaxe hat einen hohen Stellenwert, hier zu zählen Magensonde, medikamentöse Maßnahmen und die Rapid-Sequenz-Induction.
