Benign ureteral polyp as a cause of obstruction in a child

Abstract

In a 9-year-old boy with intermittent flank pain and microhematuria, ureteral obstruction due to multiple fibroepithelial polyps was diagnosed by means of radiologic studies and surgical exploration. The benign nature of the lesions and the need for conservative surgery is stressed.
