Isolation ofEnterobacter amnigenus from a heart transplant recipient

Abstract

The isolation ofEnterobacter amnigenus from a human source is reported. This microorganism was grown from an intravenous catheter and, along withPseudomonas aeruginosa, from the blood of a heart transplant patient. The biochemical characteristics and antimicrobial susceptibilities of the isolate are described.
