Frontzahntrauma/Frontzahnverlust—epidemiologische und kieferorthopädische Aspekte

Zusammenfassung

Frontzahntraumen, insbesondere mit Verlust permanenter Schneidezähne, führen häufig zu einer erheblichen Beeinträchtigung der Ästhetik, der Funktion, der Psyche und der Phonetik.

Im vorliegenden Übersichtsreferat werden über die Häufigkeit, den Umfang, die Ursachen und die Folgen dieser traumatischen Schäden berichtet und die therapeutischen Möglichkeiten unter besonderer Berücksichtigung kieferorthopädischer Aspekte diskutiert sowie die Indikationen des kieferorthopädischen bzw. prothetischen Lückenschlusses gegeneinander abgegrenzt.

Summary

Trauma to incisors, especially loss of permanent anteriors, often effects aesthetics, function, psychology and phonetics.

The following article describes the frequency, cause and effect of incisors lost as a result of the trauma. The treatment possibilities are discussed with respect to the specific orthodontic considerations. In addition, the indications for space closure by orthodontic or prosthetic procedures are discussed.

Résumé

Les traumatismes des dents antérieures, en particulier avec perte des incisives permanentes, aboutissent souvant à un important préjudice de l'ésthétique, de la fonction, du psychisme et de la phonation.

Dans cet exposé il est question de la fréquence, de l'importance, des causes et des conséquences de ces traumatismes et des possibilités thérapeutiques en tenant compte en particulier de l'aspect orthodontique ainsi que des indications comparatives entre la fermeture d'espace orthodontiquement ou prothétiquement.
