Ulcer occurring in Zenker's diverticulum

Abstract

The radiographic and pathologic findings of a Zenker's-type diverticulum containing multiple ulcers are described. This rare complication probably represented peptic ulceration of the diverticular mucosa resulting from reflux of the gastric content.
