Splenic calcifications caused by Trichosporon beigelli infection: CT and ultrasound demonstration

Abstract.

Trichosporon beigelli is an uncommon but frequently fatal invasive fungal infection in immunosupressed patients. We report on a patient with acute myeloid leukemia who developed splenic calcifications following Trichosporon beigelli infection.
