Zusammenfassung

Der Augenarzt wird sehr häufig wegen Kopf- oder Augenschmerzen aufgesucht. Rein ophthalmologische Erkrankungen sind dabei selten Ursache (z. B. Asthenopie, Erkrankungen des vorderen Augenabschnittes). Wichtig ist es, Befunde und Symptome zu erkennen, die auf eine allgemeine oder neurologische Erkrankung mit Kopf- oder Augenschmerzen hindeuten.

Abstract

Patients frequently contact ophthalmologists because of headache or eye pain. Pure ophthalmological disorders are rarely causative (e.g. asthenopia or diseases of the outer eye). It is very important to recognize symptoms and signs of the causative general or neurological disorders.
