Size-specific Dose Estimation for CT: How Should It Be Used and What Does It Mean?

Size specific dose estimation on the basis of radiation exposure metrics such as volumetric CT dose index is a great step forward in our ability to monitor and control the radiation dose associated with CT imaging.
