Abstract
Taste detection thresholds were measured for NaCl and Dulcin and recognition thresholds for NaCl, sucrose, HCl, and QSO4 in college-age smokers and nonsmokers. There were no consistent differences in thresholds for any compound between smokers and nonsmokers.
