Diagnostik und Therapie der ligamentären Ellenbogeninstabilitäten

Zusammenfassung

Posttraumatische oder akute Instabilitäten des Ellenbogens treten unilateral oder bilateral nach vollständigen Luxationen oder Subluxationen auf. Isolierte mediale Seitenbandrupturen können aber auch im Rahmen einer Valgusbelastung und laterale bei einem Verdreh- und Verschiebemechanismus („pivot shift“) oder einer Varusbelastung entstehen.

Chronische Instabilitäten des Ellenbogens entstehen zum einen als Folge zurückliegender traumatischer Seitenbandverletzungen, die nach einer konservativen oder operativen Versorgung zu keinem stabilen Ergebnis geführt haben, zum anderen sind repetitive Mikroverletzungen eines Seitenbandes durch Überlastungen in spezifischen Sportarten oder Berufen Ursache für eine chronische Instabilität.

Der folgende Beitrag soll eine Übersicht über aktuelle Erkenntnisse und Behandlungskonzepte der ligamentären Ellenbogeninstabilitäten geben.
