Krankheitsbewältigung bei systemischem Lupus erythematodes

Zusammenfassung

Hintergrund

Die mit multiplen Symptomkonstellationen einhergehende, chronisch verlaufende Autoimmunerkrankung systemischer Lupus erythematodes (SLE) beeinträchtigt in erheblichem Maße die Lebensqualität der Betroffenen. In den zurückliegenden 10 Jahren wurde die Prognose durch intensiveres Monitoring und neue Therapien deutlich verbessert. Noch immer sind aber nichtmedikamentöse Strategien zur Symptomkontrolle, Selbstwirksamkeit und Bewältigung für die Betroffenen zu wenig etabliert.

Zielsetzung

Möglichkeiten und Grenzen der nichtmedikamentösen Strategien werden in diesem Beitrag erörtert und Vorschläge für zukünftige Versorgung und Forschung vorgelegt.

Ergebnisse

Erste Interventionsstudien mit den Instrumenten der Psychoedukation, psychosozialer Maßnahmen oder der Verhaltenstherapie weisen konsistent darauf hin, dass Bedürfnisse und Erwartungen der Erkrankten an Hilfestellung und Unterstützung durch Ärzte und professionelle Pflege adäquat und nachhaltig beantwortet werden und Bewältigungsfertigkeiten sowie die gesundheitsbezogene Lebensqualität zunehmen können.
