Zum Konzept der nichtsprachlichen Lernstörung
Abstract
Rourke’s concept of nonverbal learning disorder (NLD) is explained and critically evaluated. A further development of diagnostic criteria from the WISC to the WISC IV is being conducted. The complex NLD-syndrome is reduced on core symptoms from a therapeutical point of view. Visual perception disorders are identified as significant factors influencing the formation of specific developmental disorders of scholastic skills but also of emotional and behavioral disorders. The authors present a concept for diagnosis and treatment of visual perception disorders in terms of learning and developmental disorder.
