Published Online:https://doi.org/10.1026/0943-8149/a000018

Coping with daily stressors in children and adolescents: The influence of stressful situation, age, and gender

Abstract. This article reviews research on similarities and differences in coping during childhood and adolescence as a function of stressful situation, age, and gender. The focus is on coping with daily stressors in nonclinical populations of children and adolescents. The results of 28 studies are presented.
