Ophthalmopathologische Aspekte des nichtakzidentellen Schädel-Hirn-Traumas bei Säuglingen und Kleinkindern

Zusammenfassung

Ophthalmologische Befunde, insbesondere retinale Blutungen, Glaskörperblutungen und Blutungen in die Sehnervenscheide sind seit jeher als Bestandteil des nichtakzidentellen Schädel-Hirn-Traumas/Schütteltraumas („non-accidental head injury“, NAHI/„shaken baby syndrome“, SBS) im Säuglings- und Kleinkindalter beschrieben. Zur Untersuchung von Patienten mit Verdacht auf NAHI/SBS sollte daher ein Augenarzt unbedingt hinzugezogen werden; im Todesfall müssen bei einer Sektion Entnahme und histologische Aufarbeitung der Bulbi oculorum erfolgen. Der vorliegende Übersichtsartikel wendet sich an den mit einer Begutachtung beauftragten Rechtsmediziner und referiert den aktuellen Kenntnisstand in Pathogenese, Pathologie und Differenzialdiagnose ophthalmologischer Befunde des NAHI/SBS-Komplexes.
