Zusammenfassung

Der sozioökonomische Status (SES) spiegelt meist die 3 Indikatoren Einkommen, Bildung und Beruf wider. Er korreliert negativ mit der Inzidenzrate von Diabetes mellitus Typ 2 und Apoplex. Weiterhin ist die Mortalitätsrate bei Gruppen mit niedrigem SES erhöht. Neben diesen objektiven Befunden ist auch die subjektive Wahrnehmung des Gesundheitszustandes bei Personen mit niedrigem SES negativer als bei hohem SES.
