ABSTRACT
The state of healthcare in the United States of America is in jeopardy. Researchers have suggested the integration of technology to improve the staggering quality of care. Most urban hospitals have support in terms of finances, research, and professional services whereas the rural hospitals are required to accomplish the integration of technology with little means to support and monitor the process. This study examined the quality of care in rural critical access hospitals with the maintaining of an up-to-date problem list.
