Zusammenfassung

Stress und Haut – ein unzertrennliches Paar, so nehmen es viele unserer Patienten wahr, und auch der Kliniker ist geneigt als Ultima Ratio psychosomatische Aspekte in seine pathogenetischen und therapeutischen Überlegungen mit einzubeziehen. Wie genau der Stress in die Haut kommt, ist dennoch wenig bekannt. Die psychoneuroimmunologische Forschung seit den 70er-Jahren des vergangenen Jahrhunderts hat hier wertvolle Beiträge geleistet. Wir wissen heute, dass Stressoren, seien es nun biochemische oder psychoemotionale, immer eine neuroendokrine Stressreaktion auslösen, die Konsequenzen für die Immunantwort und damit insbesondere chronisch inflammatorische Dermatosen hat. In diesem Beitrag werden an den konkreten Beispielen allergische Entzündung/Neurodermitis und Psoriasis grundlegende Mechanismen molekularer psychosomatischer Effekte auf die chronische Entzündung dargestellt. Ziel ist dabei, ein verbessertes pathogenetisches Verständnis und damit eine Öffnung für integrierte therapeutische Zielsetzungen in der dermatologischen Praxis zu erarbeiten.
