Cannabidiol – berauschend unberauschend?

Zusammenfassung

Produkte, die Cannabidiol (CBD) enthalten, liegen derzeit hoch im Trend. Neben einer Anwendung als Begleitmedikation zu Clobazam bei therapieresistenten Epilepsieformen im Kindesalter gibt es derzeit nur wenige weitere Studien für einen therapeutischen Einsatz. CBD interagiert mit zahlreichen molekularen Zielstrukturen, während es eine vernachlässigbare Affinität gegenüber Cannabinoidrezeptoren zeigt. Die zahlreichen Darreichungsformen bestimmen v. a. die Bioverfügbarkeit und Nachweisbarkeitsdauer; eine ausreichende Zahl pharmakokinetischer Studien ist derzeit nicht verfügbar. Die bisher publizierten Methoden zur analytischen Erfassung von CBD schließen Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), weitere Cannabinoide und Stoffwechselprodukte des THC ein. Die In-vivo-Zyklisierung des CBD zu THC ist ein bisher nicht gelöstes Problem. Während es für CBD-basierte Arzneimittel im Arzneibuch festgelegte analytische Prüfungsmethoden gibt, ist die Sicherheit CBD-haltiger Produkte in Bezug auf ihren THC-Gehalt für den Endverbraucher nicht gewährleistet. CBD-Blüten als Pflanzenteil der Gattung Cannabis unterliegen dem Betäubungsmittelgesetz. In Deutschland treffen für Zubereitungen mit CBD in isolierter Form die jeweiligen Bestimmungen oder Vorschriften, die sich aus der vom Hersteller angegebenen Verwendung ergeben, zu.
