Zusammenfassung

Die Häufigkeit psychopathologischer Auffälligkeiten unter straffällig gewordenen Jugendlichen ist ein weitläufig bekanntes Problem, das in breit angelegten epidemiologischen Studien untersucht worden ist. Dabei gilt es einen entwicklungsspezifischen Zugang einzunehmen, der in Betracht zieht, dass jugendliche Straftäter genauso wie Gleichaltrige noch reifen, wachsen und sich auf tiefgreifende Art und Weise verändern können. Jugendliche Straftäter sind mit einer großen Anzahl von psychiatrischen Problemen multifaktorieller Ätiologie konfrontiert. Die sofortige Begutachtung und Evaluierung durch Fachärzte für Kinder- und Jugendpsychiatrie ist eine essentielle Voraussetzung zur Etablierung einer effizienten und individualisierten Betreuungs- und Behandlungsstruktur. Das vorliegende Kapitel setzt sich zum Ziel, Formen der Aggression zu unterscheiden und psychopharmakologische Zugänge zur Behandlung von Aggression darzulegen.
