Six men with type 2 diabetes mellitus aged between 55 and 72 years, who had received sitagliptin 50 mg/day for 24 weeks, and five women with type 2 diabetes mellitus aged between 60 and 78 years, who had received alogliptin 25 mg/day for 24 weeks, developed increased serum pancreatic exocrine enzyme levels [routes of administration and patient outcomes not stated; durations of treatments to reaction onsets not clearly stated]; patients were part of a study.
