In a prospective cohort study of 100 patients, one patient [age and sex not stated] was described, who developed hair loss during treatment with colchicine [route, dosage, duration of treatment to reaction onset and outcome not stated]. The patient had a medical history of gout. The patient received prophylactic treatment with colchicine for flare-up. Thereafter, the patient developed hair loss and colchicine was discontinued. …
