A 36-year-old woman developed peripheral oedema during treatment with cyamemazine for psychosis and anxiety [route and dosage not stated]. She started receiving cyamemazine in August 2017 for psychosis and persistent anxiety. After 1.5 months, she developed oedema of the lower limbs. Her cardiac, renal and hepatic parameters were within normal limits, hence, a drug induced oedema was suspected. Her cyamemazine therapy was discontinued. Within following three days, the peripheral oedema resolved. She was then switched to levomepromazine therapy, without recurrence of oedema. …
