A 60-year-old man developed systemic malaise during treatment with irinotecan, fluorouracil, and folinic acid [routes, dosages, and outcome not stated; duration of treatment to reaction onset not clearly stated]. He had jejunal adenocarcinoma and underwent surgery in March 2009. He received eight cycles of adjuvant chemotherapy with oxaliplatin, fluorouracil, and folinic acid. A recurrent lung metastatic lesion appeared in December 2009 and from January 2010 he began treatment with irinotecan, fluorouracil, and folinic acid. He developed strong systemic malaise and the regimen had to be stopped after the second cycle. He later underwent lung resection. Three years after lung resection, he remained alive with no further new lesions. …
