To the Editor : Celiac disease (CD) is an immune-mediated enteropathy caused by permanent sensitivity to gluten in genetically susceptible individuals [
1]. It is commoner in children than adults and usually presents after the sixth month of life, which has a temporal correlation with the introduction of cereals in the diet [
2]. It has protean clinical manifestations that usually include signs of intestinal malabsorption and often extra-intestinal manifestations. Oral signs such as recurrent aphthous stomatitis and dental enamel defects are frequently associated with CD [
