Zusammenfassung

Blutige Diarrhö oft mit Schleimbeimengungen ist das Leitsymptom der Colitis ulcerosa (CU). Seltener als beim Morbus Crohn (MC) sind Abdominalschmerzen und systemische Symptome vorhanden. Beides jedoch kommt vor, besonders bei schwerer Krankheitsaktivität. Im Falle einer stärker aktiven Erkrankung findet sich auch Fieber und Gewichtsverlust.
