In a study of 15 patients, one patient [age and sex not stated] was described, who developed weakness while receiving lacosamide for epilepsy. The patient, who had epilepsy, started receiving treatment with IV drip of lacosamide 200 mg/day. After the first dose, the patient developed weakness. As a result, the dose of lacosamide was decreased to 100mg. At this dose, the patient did not show weakness and had a good response in the seizures. …
