In a retrospective study consisting of 61 patients aged 62-93 years, two patients were described, of which one patient developed hyperactivity and another patient developed drowsiness following treatment with midazolam for sedation prior to a dental treatment [ages, sexes, dosages, duration of treatment to reaction onsets and outcomes not stated]. Both patients, who had major neurocognitive disorder, were treated with oral midazolam for sedation prior to a dental treatment.
