Advances in diagnostic imaging modalities have increased the detection of more than one primary tumour in the same patient. The second tumour may be asymptomatic or incidental. For epidemiological studies, tumours are considered multiple primary malignancies if they are found in different sizes and are of a different histology or morphology group, excluding metastatic lesions (
1). Interestingly, urological cancers presenting as the second primary have been reported to be in the range of 3.3–6.6% (
