Trochleadysplasie und ihre Therapie

Zusammenfassung

Die patellofmorale Instabiliät (PFI) beruht auf einem multifaktoriellen Geschehen, wobei ein wesentlicher Risikofaktor eine dysplastisch angelegte Trochlea ist. Sie kann in 85–96 % bei einer PFI nachgewiesen werden. Die Korrektur dieser Deformität stellt eine kausale Therapieoption dar. Der vorliegende Artikel erläutert das Indikationsspektrum und beschreibt die Operationstechnik der vertiefenden, druckreduzierenden Trochleaplastik nach Bereiter, deren Komplikationen und Ergebnisse und gibt einen Ausblick über das Potenzial dieser Technik. Die vertiefende Trochleaplastik ist ein sicheres Verfahren mit einer niedrigen Reluxationsrate und einer hohen subjektiven Patientenzufriedenheit mit deutlich höherem postoperativem Aktivitätsniveau.
