Zusammenfassung

In Anbetracht der differenzierten Entwicklungen in der Therapie und beim Follow-up besitzt die pathomorphologische Diagnostik nach wie vor einen besonderen Stellenwert für das Management von Patienten mit CED. Neben den klassischen Entitäten Morbus Crohn und Colitis ulcerosa ist in differenzialdiagnostischer Hinsicht ein immer breiter werdendes Spektrum an entzündlichen Darmerkrankungen zu berücksichtigen. Die Abklärung dieser Krankheitsbilder erfordert eine enge interdisziplinäre Kooperation. Dieses Kapitel präsentiert eine Zusammenfassung zu pathomorphologischen Aspekten chronisch-entzündlicher Darmerkrankungen.
