A 61-year-old woman was diagnosed with pulmonary sarcoidosis and received oral prednisolone 50mg daily, followed by methotrexate and hydroxychloroquine [Plaquenil]. Seven years later, she developed nodules on her tattooed eyebrows, scars on her buttock, abdomen and dyspnoea. Chest imaging confirmed extensive disease and increased oral prednisolone 25mg [frequency not stated] improved her symptoms but resulted in weight gain, anxiety and palpitations [duration/time to reaction and outcome not stated]. …
