Zusammenfassung

Minimal-invasive Behandlungstechniken spielen in der Diagnostik und Therapie von Gefäßerkrankungen eine maßgebliche Rolle, sowohl für elektive Eingriffe als auch in der Notfallbehandlung gefäßassoziierter Krankheitsbilder. Trotz des raschen Fortschritts von Innovation und begleitender technischer Sicherheit bergen katheterassoziierte Verfahren ein relevantes komplikatives Potenzial mit teils weitreichenden Folgen für betroffene Organe und Patient:innen. In diesem Artikel werden häufige Komplikationen endovaskulärer Eingriffe inklusive entsprechender Lösungsstrategien dargestellt.
