Auf einen Blick

Trend Die Antibiotikaverordnungen zeigen 2019 gegenüber dem Vorjahr von der Gesamtmenge her erneut eine Abnahme. Vor allem sind die Verordnungen von Fluorchinolonen deutlich gesunken. Amoxicillin-Clavulansäure wurde deutlich häufiger verordnet, angestiegen sind wie bereits im Vorjahr auch die Verordnungen von Pivmecillinam. Ein leichter Rückgang ist wiederum bei Makroliden/Clindamycin, Tetracyclinen, nicht jedoch bei Sulfonamiden und Trimethoprim zu verzeichnen. Die Antimykotika wurden ähnlich häufig wie im Vorjahr verordnet, ebenso die Substanzen gegen Herpes simplex und Herpes zoster. Bei den antiretroviralen Mitteln kam es zu einer deutlichen Mehrverordnung eines neuen Kombinationspräparats mit Integrase-Inhibitor.

Bei Reizdarmsyndrom scheinen Diäten, wie etwa die FODMAP-arme oder die kohlenhydratreduzierte Ernährung, effektiver als eine medikamentöse Therapie zu sein. Das hat eine Studie aus Schweden ergeben, die die drei Therapieoptionen im direkten Vergleich analysierte.
