The quality of life in patients with neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) is affected by the release of vasoactive peptides into the circulation.
1,2 Surgical resection has been shown to improve survival in this population; however, patient-reported outcomes such as quality of life are difficult to study given the low incidence of NETs.
