Vorteile der 3-D/4-D-Echokardiographie – Neuerungen und Ausblick

Zusammenfassung

Die Sonographie ist heute fester und etablierter Bestandteil der Schwangerenvorsorge und der Fehlbildungsdiagnostik. Aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Erfahrungsniveaus der Untersucher gibt es zum Teil deutliche Diskrepanzen zwischen der Prävalenz angeborener Fehlbildungen und ihren sonographischen Detektionsraten. Angeborene Herzfehler gehören zu den häufigsten Fehlbildungskomplexen und betreffen ca. 8 pro 1000 Lebendgeburten. Trotz nahezu ubiquitärer Verfügbarkeit von Ultraschallsystemen werden auch heute viele Herzfehler erst nach der Geburt diagnostiziert. Die Übersichtsarbeit widmet sich den möglichen Anwendungsgebieten der fetalen 3‑D/4-D-Volumensonographie.
