Zusammenfassung

Es werden Ess- und Fütterstörungen nach den künftigen Kriterien der International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11) dargestellt. Dabei wird über Differenzialdiagnosen, Epidemiologie, Ätiologie, Pathogenese und Therapie referiert. Neu ist die Binge-Eating-Störung, die auch die häufigste Essstörung darstellt. Von Anorexia nervosa und Bulimia nervosa sind überwiegend Frauen betroffen, bei Binge-Eating-Störung ist das Geschlechterverhältnis eher ausgeglichen. Soziokulturelle, biologische und psychologische Faktoren werden hinsichtlich der Krankheitsentstehung diskutiert. Die kognitive Verhaltenstherapie ist die bestuntersuchte Behandlung für alle drei Essstörungen. Nach den deutschen Leitlinien von 2019 ist bei Anorexia nervosa auch die fokale psychodynamische Psychotherapie wirksam, eine Wirksamkeit von Psychopharmaka in der primären Therapie war bei dieser Erkrankung nicht nachweisbar. In der Behandlung der Bulimia nervosa zeigt Fluoxetin eine begrenzte Wirksamkeit.
