10. Sport bei Kindern und Jugendlichen – kinderkardiologische Aspekte

Zusammenfassung

Die Sinnhaftigkeit der Durchführung einer sportmedizinischen Untersuchung vor einer leistungssportlichen Betätigung ist sowohl bei Erwachsenen als auch bei Kindern und Jugendlichen weitgehend unbestritten. Dabei sollte die kardiologische Untersuchung nicht zu einer Verunsicherung der Probanden und auch nicht zu einer ausufernden Diagnostik führen. Ziel dieses Kapitels ist es, altersentsprechenden physiologische EKG-Veränderungen aufzuzeigen und die entsprechenden Unterschiede zum Erwachsenen-EKG heraus zu arbeiten. Vor allem die kinderkardiologischen Aspekte spezieller Erkrankungen (arrhythmogene rechtsventrikuläre Cardiomyopathie (ARVC), hypertrophe Cardiomyopathie (HCMP), Long-QT-Syndrom (LQTS), Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrom (WPW), Extrasystolie) werden dargestellt. Die zunehmende Überlappung in Hinsicht auf körperliche Belastung zwischen Freizeitsport, Schulsport, Wettkampfsport und Leistungssport macht im kinderkardiologische Bereich eine differenzierte Betrachtung nötig und bedarf fundierter kinderkardiologischer als auch sportmedizinischer Erfahrung.
