Placenta previa is associated with serious antenatal and post-partum hemorrhage. We have demonstrated an operative procedure to decrease the amount of blood loss for an anteriorly located placenta and a very effective technique for hemostasis—that is, figure-of-eight suturing—in cases with massive bleeding from the placental removal site during cesarean delivery [

2]. Figure-of-eight suturing is a very simple method that sutures into the myometrium but not into the uterine serosa on-site at the uterine bleeding point [
1]. It is very important that we consider conserving fertility when performing hemostatic operative procedures. Various methods of hemostasis have been demonstrated; however, there are few reports of subsequent pregnancy after these procedures where a large amount of bleeding due to placenta previa had occurred. …
